    摘要: This application discloses a network congestion control method and a network device, and relates to the field of communication technologies, to improve continuity and completion of a packet in a transmission process of a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) flow. In this application, when pre-congestion (that is, congestion may occur) occurs in a forwarding direction of the TCP flow, a forwarding device reduces a value of a receive window (RWND) field in an acknowledge (ACK) packet, to reduce a sending rate of a transmit end for a packet in the TCP flow or delay sending of a packet by a transmit end. This relieves buffer pressure of the forwarding device, reduces a packet loss, and improves the continuity and the completion of the packet in the transmission process of the TCP flow.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a packet forwarding method and a network device, which are applicable to a system that includes a source node, a destination node, a first device, and a second device, where a first logical channel L1 is established between the source node and the first device and a second logical channel L2 is established between the source node and the second device, a third logical channel L3 is established between the destination node and the first device and a fourth logical channel L4 is established between the destination device and the second device, and the packet forwarding method includes: receiving, by the second device through a universal tunnel, a packet to be sent to a destination node, where the packet carries service data and one of identifiers of the L1, the L2, the L3, and the L4; according to the identifier carried in the packet, querying a preconfigured logical channel mapping in the second device, determining that a forwarding channel is the L4, and sending the service data in the packet to the destination node through the L4, where the logical channel mapping is a mapping between a logical channel and the L4, and the logical channel corresponds to the identifier. By using the technical solutions, the number of ICB PWs can be reduced.

The method includes: automatically establishing a data channel for link protection between the active PE and the standby PE; monitoring a link for current data transmission; and when the link for current data transmission fails, forwarding data through the standby PE and the data channel for link protection. Through the present invention, the link delay can be reduced, and packet loss is prevented.
