Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method, a base station and user equipment for transmitting channel quality information. The method includes: when channel quality information of Y downlink carriers is needed to be fed back by a user equipment to a base station through X uplink carriers, allocating, by the base station, resource blocks to the user equipment according to the number of bits of the channel quality information and a set of resource block numbers that corresponds to a configuration X/Y, in which X and Y are positive integers greater than or equal to 1; and configuring, by the base station, the number of the allocated resource blocks in a control signaling for uplink scheduling UL-grant, and sending, by base station, the signaling to the user equipment. It can be seen that, the base station can allocate the resource blocks to the user equipment according to the number of the bits of the channel quality information and the set of resource block numbers. As a result, uplink scheduling bandwidth can be adaptively allocated for the transmission of the channel quality information. In addition, the drawback that the transmission performance cannot be guaranteed due to the fixed bandwidth resources through which the user equipment transmits the channel quality information can be resolved.

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for coexistence of multiple operating entity systems, where the method includes: setting part or all of bandwidths of an operating entity in uplink timeslots of a downlink carrier frequency interference region to be in an idle state. By using the present invention, the uplink timeslots of the operating entity in the downlink carrier frequency interference region are set to be in an idle state and do not transmit an uplink transmit signal any longer, which prevents a downlink transmit signal of another operating entity from interfering with an uplink transmit signal of the operating entity.

According to embodiments of the present invention, the TA of the second frequency point can be obtained according to the TA of the first frequency point, and a RACH access process does not need to be performed at the second frequency point, which effectively reduces the network resources occupied by the RACH process, and shortens the produced delay, thereby improving the performance of the entire system.

The present invention relates to radio communications, and discloses a method and apparatus for feeding back and receiving acknowledgment (ACK) information of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) data packets. The method for feeding back ACK information of SPS data packets includes: receiving an uplink downlink assignment index (UL DAI) from a base station (BS), where the value of the UL DAI indicates the number of downlink data packets (N); mapping ACKs/NAKs of k SPS data packets of the downlink data packets to positions from the (N-k+1)th ACK/NAK to the N th ACK/NAK; and feeding back N ACKs/NAKs to the BS. This method can guarantee that N ACKs/NAKs are arranged correctly.
