A method and a device for reducing a signal peak value are adapted to solve a problem that overall performance of a system is significantly degraded caused by allocating a same weight to each sub-carrier so as to averagely distribute a peak clipping noise to each sub-carrier. The method includes: receiving a signal (21); and performing a peak clipping processing on the received signal by using a peak clipping signal (25). The peak clipping signal is formed according to a peak clipping weight factor and the received signal, or according to a frequency domain error vector magnitude (EVM) and the received signal. In the method, a weight of each sub-carrier is set according to the peak clipping weight factor (the peak clipping weight factor includes, but is not limited to, an encoding mode, a constellation mapping mode, a transmit power, and a receiving quality class) or the frequency domain EVM during the peak clipping processing, that is, a large weight is allocated to the sub-carrier having good anti-interference capability, and a small weight is allocated to the sub-carrier having poor anti-interference capability, thereby improving the overall performance of the system.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for generating a standard cancellation signal, and belong to the communication technology field. An embodiment includes: setting weight values according to frequency points of a current cell and its neighboring cells; according to the frequency points of the current cell and neighboring cells and the weight values of the frequency points, performing Fourier transform to obtain a corresponding time-domain signal; and performing highest amplitude normalization on the time-domain signal and performing a cyclic shift to obtain a standard cancellation signal. The embodiments generate a standard cancellation signal according to frequency points of the current cell and its neighboring cells, so that the current cell and its neighboring cells share the peak clipping noise, and therefore helping improve the peak clipping performance of the current cell or reduce the EVM distortion. In addition, due to the existence of large-scale fading, actual interference of the peak clipping noise in the current cell on the neighboring cells is small.

A VOD service content management method, includes the following step: a middle ware controls a VOD server to store content according to a VOD service information associated with a channel. A corresponding VOD service providing method and relevant device and system are provided. The invention enables the specific service form to be independent of the stored content, and the middle ware performs a concentrative control according to a service information. The VOD server no more need to process storing operation for each of services respectively, but processes adding/deleting of storing according to concentrative controlling of the middle ware, thus repeat storing of data in relation to service is avoided.

The method includes: sending a route detection message to a VOD server; receiving a route resource list replied by the VOD server; receiving a route detection stream according to a signal route resource in the obtained route resource list; judging, according to the received route detection stream, whether the signal route resource corresponding to the received route detection stream is valid; and reporting valid signal route resource information to the VOD server. Through a signal route detection method, a location of a VOD terminal device is automatically identified, and a corresponding relation between the VOD terminal device and the IPQAM/QAM resource of the VOD server is automatically established, so that roaming of the VOD terminal device may be realized, and when a coverage relation of the terminal is changed, the VOD service may be normally supported without any additional processing.

The present invention provides a method for managing contents of Video On Demand (VOD) services, where a Middle Ware (MW) controls the stored contents on a VOD server according to the VOD service information correlated with a channel. A corresponding method for providing VOD services and the corresponding device and system are also provided. Therefore, the specific service forms are separated from the stored contents, and the MW controls the contents in a centralized manner according to the service information; the VOD server does not need to store the contents of each service separately, but adds and deletes the stored contents according to the unified control from the MW, thus avoiding repeated storage of the same data for different services.
