The present invention provides an interfering line detection method, apparatus, and system. When a case of disordered cabling exists among multiple DSLAMs, if a first DSLAM is an interference source of a second DSLAM, based on an SELT signal sent on one or more preset subcarriers by the first DSLAM, an interfering signal exists on a line corresponding to the one or more preset subcarriers, a difference between a line detection parameter value that corresponds to one or more preset subcarriers on the second DSLAM and a line detection parameter value that corresponds to subcarriers respectively neighboring to the one or more subcarriers on the second DSLAM, and a frequency of a subcarrier whose difference of the one or more differences reaches a preset threshold is acquired, where a line corresponding to the frequency of the subcarrier is an interfering line. Therefore, an interfering line can be detected in real time, effectively increasing a transmission rate of a channel and a proportion of services that can be activated for a DSLAM, and ensuring relatively high network stability.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for compatibility with a VDSL2 legacy customer premises equipment, including: selecting tones in preset locations from tones of a legacy line as training tones; controlling the training tones not to transmit data and modulating a pilot sequence on the training tones; calculating and feeding back clipped errors on a Vectored line; and calculating coefficients, for the training tones, of crosstalk of the legacy line in the Vectored line according to the pilot sequence and the clipped errors. The embodiments of the present invention further provide an apparatus and a system for compatibility with a VDSL2 legacy customer premises equipment. According to the present invention, coefficients of crosstalk of a legacy line in a Vectored line can be obtained without increasing costs and changing an existing legacy customer premises equipment, and then the crosstalk of the legacy line in the Vectored line is eliminated, and compatibility of a Vectored-DSL system with the legacy customer premises equipment is implemented.

The method includes: performing sending of a near-end orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal and receiving of a far-end orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal simultaneously on an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing channel; obtaining a carrier phase difference between an echo orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal and the far-end orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal, and a channel transfer function of an echo channel; and generating an echo cancellation signal according to the carrier phase difference, the channel transfer function of the near-end echo channel, and a near-end signal to be sent, and overlapping the echo cancellation signal and a received signal to cancel the echo orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal that is overlapped in the received signal.
