This invention discloses a method for transmitting a radio signal and a method for receiving a radio signal, in which an idle time slot on another carrier within a present cell, which corresponds to a time slot of a carrier occupied initially by a user, is used for diversity transmission/reception of a signal of the user when a link quality of the user is below a preset lower threshold, and the idle time slot on the another carrier occupied by the user is released when the link quality of the user is above a preset upper threshold. The invention also discloses a system for transmitting a radio signal and a system for receiving a radio signal. With the invention, the link quality of the user can be improved with network resource saved.

A circuit switching (CS) handover method is provided, which includes the following steps. A source controller sends an ENHANCED RELOCATION REQUEST message to a target controller through an inter-controller interconnection interface, so as to instruct the target controller to reserve wireless channel resources in a target cell. After an ENHANCED RELOCATION RESPONSE message from the target controller is received, a command for handover is sent to a terminal. Through the method, the wireless channel resource reservation process in the handover preparation process can be processed in advance, thereby shortening the handover preparation time and reducing the probability of phenomena such as call drop due to excessively long handover preparation time.

A method for controlling power of an uplink physical channel includes: computing a relative gain factor in a compressed mode; correcting the relative gain factor to obtain a corrected relative gain factor; generating a gain factor in the compressed mode according to the corrected relative gain factor; controlling power of the uplink physical channel according to the gain factor in the compressed mode generated. In embodiments of the present invention, after being computed, the relative gain factor in the compressed mode is corrected, then the gain factor in the compressed mode is generated according to the corrected relative gain factor. Thus, an accurate gain factor may be acquired for controlling the power of the uplink physical channel.
