摘要： This application provides a data transmission method and a communication apparatus. In the method, physical-layer to-be-coded data of a transmit end may support lossy or lossless transmission, channel coding, a coding mode in which compression and channel coding are separated, and a coding mode in which compression and channel coding are combined. Therefore, physical layer coding performed by the transmit end may support a more flexible data transmission mode. In addition, the physical-layer to-be-coded data of the transmit end may be directly sent after being compressed and coded in a supported coding mode at a physical layer, and there is no longer a case in which the physical-layer data is sent to an application layer for processing due to some reasons (for example, to adapt to a limited bandwidth allocated by a system or match a capability of reconstructing distorted data by a receive end) and then sent after channel coding at the physical layer is performed. Therefore, in this application, a data sending path is shorter, and a sending delay can be reduced.

摘要： This application provides an LDPC rate matching method and a communication apparatus. During retransmission, a transmit end repeatedly sends information bits of an LDPC codeword based on an order of repetition priorities of the information bits in rate matching, so that a performance gain of a receive end can be obtained. The order of repetition priorities of information bits is determined based on sensitivity of LDPC codewords. Therefore, in the order of repetition priorities, an information bit with higher sensitivity has a lower repetition priority, and an information bit with lower sensitivity has a higher repetition priority. Therefore, when the transmit end repeats the information bits of the LDPC codeword, an information bit with lower sensitivity is repeated first, so that decoding performance of the receive end can be improved.

A quantity of columns of the first interleaver is M 1 +M 2 , a quantity of rows of the first interleaver is a larger value in N 1 and N 2 , N 1 and M 1 are determined based on a quantity of subcarriers of the first RU, and N 2 and M 2 are determined based on a quantity of subcarriers of the second RU. The second interleaver is configured to receive the information bits that are output by the first interleaver by column, and perform interleaving mapping on the information bits. According to the interleaver provided in embodiments of this application, information bits of a plurality of RUs using different modulation and coding schemes can be interleaved, to simplify a hardware structure of a communication apparatus.

摘要： This application provides an LDPC code encoding method and a communication apparatus, to meet a requirement of increasing redundant bits through retransmission in an IR-HARQ mechanism, so as to decrease a channel coding rate, and improve decoding performance of an LDPC code. In the method, a check matrix of the LDPC code is used as a basic matrix, and the basic matrix is extended to obtain a mother matrix compatible with a plurality of code rates. During LDPC encoding, a transmit device reads, from the mother matrix, a check matrix corresponding to a required code rate, and performs LDPC encoding on an information bit sequence based on the read check matrix. LDPC encoding is performed on the information bit sequence by using check matrices of different sizes, to obtain different quantities of redundant bits.
