摘要： A thermal transfer printing dyesheet comprising a sheet substrate having at least a thermal transfer dyecoat on one face and a heat resisting slipping layer on the other face, is characterised in that the heat resisting slipping layer comprises a silicone resin powder having silsesquioxane structure, and at least one of a metal salt powder of a higher fatty acid and a metal salt powder of a higher fatty acid phosphate. This dyesheet showed a superior travelling, has an outstanding freedom from scratching, does not develop creases and moreover its storage stability was an excellent one having no adverse effect on the dyecoat.

摘要： A highly sensitive thermal transfer printing ink sheet is provided giving very little low temperature thermal transfer and irregularity of picture, even when printed in high temperature and high humidity conditions, and has an excellent long term storage stability, by using as dye-binder polycarbonate resin selected from:
(a) a polycarbonate resin of which the diol component is at least one bis(hydroxyaryl) cycloalkane,
(b) a polycarbonate resin of which the diol component is a mixture of bis(hydroxyaryl) cycloalkane and at least one compound of formula I below, or
(c) a mixture of polycarbonate resins of (a) or (b), or a mixed polycarbonate resin of (a) and (b), and a polycarbonate resin of which the diol component is at least one compound of formula I below,

摘要： A dyesheet is provided for thermal transfer printing, comprising a base sheet having a dyecoat containing a thermal transfer dye layer on one surface, and on the other a crosslinked heat resistant backcoat formulated to minimise dye migration from the dyecoat to the backcoat during storage. The backcoat comprises the reaction product of radically copolymerising in a layer of coating composition, a ) at least one organic compound having a plurality of radically polymerisable unsaturated groups per molecule, and b ) at least one organic compound having per molecule a single unsaturated group radically copolymerisable with constituent a , and having at least one alicyclic group per molecule. Preferred additional constituents include slip agents, especially a multivalent metal salt of a long chain alkyl or alkylphenyl phosphate ester.

摘要： A dyesheet is provided for thermal transfer printing, comprising a base sheet having a thermal transfer dye layer on one surface, and on the other a heat resistant backcoat comprising a crosslinked reaction product of radically polymerising a compound having a plurality of polymerisable unsaturated groups per molecule, wherein the backcoat is formulated to minimise scratching of the print during printing. The formulation comprises a) a compound having a single radically polymerisable unsaturated group which is copolymerised with the compound having a plurality of polymerisable unsaturated groups per molecule, and b) a multivalent metal salt of a long chain alkyl or alkyphenyl phosphate ester as slip agent. These two factors (a & b) work together, and if either is omitted, relief from scratching does not generally occur.
