摘要: Resource allocation techniques for D2D communications are described. In one embodiment, for example, user equipment may comprise one or more radio frequency (RF) transceivers, one or more RF antennas, and logic, at least a portion of which is in hardware, the logic to receive a D2D control information (D2DCI) message comprising D2D transmission pattern (DTP) information, identify a set of D2D transmission resources based on the DTP information, and send one or more D2D data messages using the set of D2D transmission resources. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: In embodiments, apparatuses, methods, and storage media may be described for mapping media access control (MAC) protocol data units (PDUs) that are used to transmit scheduling assignment (SA) discovery, and/or device-to-device (D2D) data. Embodiments herein may describe how one or more MAC PDUs may be mapped into a time resource pattern for transmissions (T-RPT). Embodiments herein may further describe examples of how and when a UE may skip subframes in transmissions of the SA and/or data. Additionally, embodiments herein may further describe examples of how a UE may behave if the UE cannot transmit one or more scheduled instances of SA or data. Additionally, embodiments herein may describe resolution of collisions of D2D discovery messages in the time domain. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

摘要: Processing circuitry is provided for a wireless communication device and providing an interface to transmit/receive a signal comprising a plurality of physical resource blocks generated depending on a resource block grid structure for a given channel bandwidth and a given frequency range. The resource block grid structure comprises a reference alignment of resource blocks corresponding to a reference subcarrier spacing and at least one further alignment of resource blocks within the given channel bandwidth for a respective further subcarrier spacing. The resource block boundaries for different subcarrier spacings align with each other. At least a subset of the resource blocks of the resource block grid structure are assigned as active resource blocks, the assignment to preserve at least a minimum guard band corresponding to the respective subcarrier spacing and the given channel bandwidth and the given frequency range.
