摘要: A wireless communication device including: a radio frequency (RF) circuitry; and one or more processors coupled to the RF circuitry and configured to: transmit up to and/or at a first regulatory transmit power limit and a second regulatory transmit power limit using a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transmission protocol, wherein the first regulatory transmit power limit is greater than the second regulatory transmit power limit, wherein the one or more processors are configured to transmit at the first regulatory transmit power limit using an adaptive frequency hopping scheme if the one or more processors determine: the wireless communication device is located in a jurisdiction complying with European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) standard and a number of channels for transmission is equal or greater to a first threshold and wherein none of the channels available for transmission have a determined noise above a predefined noise threshold.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a controller configured to detect a reconnection single point of failure in a Bluetooth or other Low-Energy wireless connection attempt with a peripheral device and implement a procedure to reconnect with the peripheral device by delaying the reporting of the connection failure to a host processor. Instead, the controller initiates an additional scan on a different frequency band than used in the initial attempt in a further attempt at connecting with the peripheral device.
