摘要: A device (30) for controlling the tension (T) of a yarn (31) includes a gauge (36) measuring tension of the yarn (31) and optionally a brake (81) driven by the tension gauge (36) to vary braking of the yarn. The gauge (36) comprises electromagnetic control means (37) having a moveable control element (40) subject to a force dependent on the tension (T) of the yarn (31), and a control circuit. The latter circuit supplies the electromagnetic control means (37) with a current (I) so that the moveable control element (40) remains virtually still in a given position, during variations of the yarn tension. This current (I) is indicative of the tension (T) of the yarn (31) and is measured to obtain a measure of the yarn tension. The device can be associated with a yarn feeder having a drum and moveable eyelet coaxial with the drum.
