The cap (10) comprises a member a member (14) having an inner portion (50) and an outer portion (52), the inner portion having a top portion (54) with a peripheral wall (60) extending downwardly for covering the mouth of the container and the outer portion (52) having a top portion (16) having a plurality of dispensing openings (30) for allowing passage of the condiments outwards from the interior of the container. The cap further comprises a seal (12) having a top portion (20) comprising a central portion (22), a flange portion (24) extending around the central portion for overlapping the dispensing openings (30) of the outer portion (52) and a central peripheral wall (44) extending downwardly from the top portion and having a lower end (66) mountable to the member (14). In use, the seal (12) is moveable between a closed position, wherein the flange portion (24) covers the dispensing openings (30) for preventing passage of the condiments outwards from the interior of the container, and an open position, wherein the central portion (22) is below the flange portion (24) and the flange portion (24) frees the dispensing openings (30) for allowing passage of the condiments outwards from the interior of the container.
