摘要： A cartridge for a printing ribbon 13 for a typewriter having a character-carrying disc 21 comprises a casing 12 and two oscillating arms 38 between the ends of which a run of the ribbon extends in a straight line on the outside of the casing between the disc 21 and the platen 23. The arms 38 oscillate from a rest position in which they make the typing point 24 visible, to three or more working positions in which they make it possible to print using one of three tracks of the ribbon. The two oscillating arms 38 are pivoted by means of pins 42 on seats 51 of fixed supports 52 of the casing 12. Pivotally mounted at the free end of each arm 38 is a guide element 67, a stem 66 of the guide element being received in a sleeve 63 of the arm 38. Each guide element is thus capable of modifying its angular position with repsect to the respective arm in response to the selection movement so that the ribbon 13 is always held in tension in a uniform manner, irrespective of the track selected.

摘要： The sheet feeder can be mounted on a typewriter or on a printer in a system for processing data. The sheets (12) which are accommodated in a feed magazine (28) are passed to the platen roller (210) by friction stripper rollers (250). After the printing operation, the sheets are passed on to a collection table (150) positioned in front of the feed magazine. The stripper rollers are permanently connected to the platen roller by way of a mechanical transmission (212, 218, 226, 245, 248) and rotate in the same direction as the platen roller. The stripper rollers (250) are mounted on an oscillating arm (252) to be selectively moved towards or away from the first sheet to be fed, by means of a first cam (254). Before a fresh sheet is fed, a second cam, (242), also coupled to the platen roller, has to be brought to a reference position by rotating the platen roller enough to expel the current sheet. The platen roller is then rotated in the reverse direction, whereby the second cam actuates a lever (262), thereby to close a clutch (260). During subsequent rotation of the platen roller in the forward direction, the clutch rotates the first cam (254) through one revolution for engaging the stripper rollers (250) with the top sheet (12), thereby effecting stripping and feed of a sheet. At the end of the rotary movement through one revolution of the cam, the stripper rollers are moved away from the sheets and the clutch is opened, making the cams inoperative independently of subsequent rotary movements of the platen roller in one direction or the other.

摘要： A cartridge (11) for a correction ribbon (13) for typewriters comprises a container (12) for a supply reel (38) and a receiving reel (39). A tensioning device (46) comprises a toothed ring (47) on the supply reel (38) and a spring (48) which is pivoted in the container (12) and which has one end engaged with the toothed ring (47) to tension the ribbon (13). The container (12) can be removably fixed to the lower part of a cartridge for a typing ribbon which in turn can be fitted on a support of the machine. The support is movable from a viewing position to a typing position in which the typing ribbon is in front of the point of typing and to a correction position in which the correction ribbon (13) is in front of the point of typing. The receiving reel (39) of the cartridge (11), in use, is capable of co-operating with a feed mechanism which provides for forward feed movement of the ribbon (13) in each correction cycle. For that purpose the receiving reel (39) comprises a series of frontal teeth (66) provided in the lower part of its flange (63), the container (12) comprises an opening (74) and the feed mechanism comprises a ratchet co-operating with the frontal teeth (66) through the opening (74) for a forward feed cycle of the correction ribbon (13) when the support moves between the viewing position and the correction position.

摘要： A cassette (7) for a printing ribbon (8) comprises a casing (11) accommodating a supply spool (23) which has a tube (26) on which the printing ribbon 8 is wound. An anti-unrolling element (9) of plastics material comprises two portions (31) and (32) of elongate shape, which are connected by means of an integral elastic hinge (33). The first portion (31) performs a guiding and positioning function and is accommodated by means of a slot (34) within the casing (11). The second portion (32) has a blocking function with regard to the tube (26), and is movable on the outside of the casing (11), by means of the elastic hinge (33) from an inoperative position in which it is aligned with the first portion (31), to an operative position in which it is rotated through 180 o and is substantially in superposed relationship with the first portion (31). The second portion (32) is provided with a hook element (48) which, in its operative position, engages the tube (26) through an opening (53) in the casing (11) for positively blocking the supply spool both during storage and during transportation of the cassette (7), to inhibit unrolling in a simple and reliable manner.

摘要： A cartridge (11) for a typing ribbon for typewriters comprises a container (12) for accommodating a typing ribbon (13) which can be of single-strike correctable or non-correctable, multi-strike or endless inked type. If the ribbon (13) is of the single-strike or multi-strike type, the container (12) comprises a supply reel and a tensioning and stop device (51) co-operating with a toothed flange (43) of the supply reel to prevent the ribbon (13) which is wound on the supply reel from unwinding both when the container (12) is mounted on the machine and when it is removed from the machine. The device (51) comprises a tensioning lever (53) for the ribbon (13) and a stop lever (52) for the reel, which levers are connected together by means of a resilient spring connection (72). The device (51) guides and tensions the ribbon (13) during the unidirectional feed movement thereof, in such a way as to ensure a constant stepping mvoement in the feed motion of the ribbon (13) and low and constant tensioning of the ribbon. If the ribbon (13) is of the inked type, the container (12) comprises a magazine for accommodating the ribbon which is disposed in randomly distributed loops, a feed roller which drives in rotation a first feed wheel for producing a feed movement of the ribbon (13), together with a pressure roller (208) for introduction of the ribbon (13) into the magazine.
