摘要: A method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising: receiving, by the WTRU, random access response (RAR) configuration information; receiving, by the WTRU, information indicating a position of a non-terrestrial network device; transmitting, by the WTRU, a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble transmission to the non-terrestrial network device; and receiving, by the WTRU, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission from the non-terrestrial network device during a RAR time window, wherein a beginning of the RAR time window is based on a time offset, and wherein the time offset is based on the position of the non-terrestrial network device.

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a PDCCH transmission comprising a CCE that is mapped to one or more REGs based on a CCE-to-REG mapping. The WTRU may receive the CCE-to-REG mapping that indicates a REG bundle corresponding to the CCE and use the CCE-to-REG mapping to identify the REGs for the WTRU. Depending on whether the CCE-to-REG mapping is interleaving or non interleaving, the CCE-to-REG mapping may be based on different parameters. If the CCE-to-REG mapping is interleaving, the CCE-to-REG mapping may be based on an index associated with the CCE and a number of REGs in the REG bundle. If the CCE-to-REG mapping is noninterleaving, the CCE-to-REG mapping may be based on the index of the CCE.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for addressing timing advance (TA) in non-terrestrial network communication is disclosed herein. A wireless transmit and receive unit (WTRU) may receive system information from a base station attached to an airborne or spaceborne vehicle that indicates a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource. The WTRU may determine a timing offset based on a plurality of information, such as the location information and the system information. The WTRU may transmit a preamble using the timing offset via the PRACH resource. The base station may receive the preamble and send a random access response (RAR) that includes, for example, a TA command. The WTRU may receive the RAR including the TA command and combine the timing offset with the TA command to determine an actual TA, after which the WTRU may use the actual TA for uplink transmissions.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for channel access and listen-before-talk approaches for new radio operation in unlicensed bands and/or licensed bands. A gNB and a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may operate in unlicensed spectrum. The gNB may perform listen-before-talk operation, and when successful, may send a downlink control channel with a slot format indication (SFI) to the WTRU. There may also be a handshaking procedure with an exchange of a request to transmit (RTT) and a request to receive (RTR). Prior to receiving the downlink channel, the WTRU may monitor search spaces at a first level, and once the downlink channel is received the WTRU may monitor search spaces at a second level. At the end of transmission, the WTRU may revert back to monitoring search spaces at the first level. In one example, the first level may be a mini-slot level and the second level may be a slot level.

摘要: Methods and systems for detecting an enhanced massive mobile broadband (eMBB) physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in the presence of for ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) users are disclosed. A eMBB wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a eMBB control resource set (CORESET) configuration for a CORESET including a PDCCH preemption indicator. If PDCCH preemption is enabled based on the PDCCH preemption indicator, the eMBB WTRU may identify and remove preempted resource element groups (REGs) in the eMBB CORESET by comparing channel estimates for each REG bundle in the eMBB CORESET. The WTRU may perform channel estimation based on remaining REGs in the eMBB CORESET and detect the PDCCH by performing blind decoding, based on a received signal, on the remaining REGs in the eMBB CORESET.
