摘要: The present principles relate to a method and device for generating a set of parameters for generating image data in a second dynamic range representative of original image data in a first dynamic range, the set of parameters being used for tone mapping operation and color correction of the original image data, a first version of the set of parameters having been determined from said original image data and being altered to control the clipping of distributed image data. Alteration is done by determining a clipping table comprising, for a plurality of pixels of the original image data, a maximal value of the set of parameters for which the distributed image is not clipped and selecting the set of parameters according to a clipping rule. Multiple clipping rules are proposed.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method comprising:
- obtaining an audio and video input content complying with a first format providing a representation of data in a first range of possible values;
- applying a first format modification to the input content, providing an output content complying with a second format providing a representation of data in a second range of possible values;
- associating to the output content a first kind of format modification representative of range operations performed between values of the first and second ranges.
The disclosure also relates to a method comprising:
- obtaining an audio and video input content complying with an input format providing a representation of data in an input range of values,
- obtaining information associated with the input content and comprising at least one first kind of format modification adapted to represent range operations performed between values of a first range and values of a second range by a first format modification;
- determining whether to apply a second format modification to the input content by taking account of the first kind of format modification and, when a second format modification is needed, determining a kind of the second format modification by taking account of the first kind of format modification.
