摘要： A carriage (40) for the transducer heads (44) of a disk file is supported on guide rails (34, 36, 38) mounted on the disk file frame (32). The carriage (40) carries a coil (52) which interacts with magnets (60, 61, 62, 63) held in a support structure (64, 66) which is mounted on resilient bushings (78) disposed on the ends of the guide rails (34, 36, 38) so that the guide rails and the frame are substantially isolated from the reaction forces produced on the magnets.
