    摘要: A marine tensioner has a tensioner frame (41) and multiple track units (42) mounted in said frame. Each track unit comprises an elongated chassis (42a), said chassis having end portions at opposed ends thereof as well as a central portion between said end portions Each track unit further comprises an endless track (42b) supported by said chassis and track motion control means for effecting controlled motion of the endless track, the endless track having a multitude of friction elements adapted to engage on the pipeline or the like. Between each track unit and the tensioner frame a connecting structure is provided that at least allows for lateral motion of the track unit so as to adapt the position of the track unit to the pipeline diameter. One or more squeeze actuators (50-52) are provided between the tensioner frame and the chassis of the track unit and actuator control means are provided which are associated with said one or more squeeze actuators and allow to control the squeeze force exerted by the friction elements of the track of track unit on the pipeline.

    摘要: The first aspect of the invention relates to a marine pipeline installation system for laying an offshore pipeline, wherein the system comprises a vessel (202) and a pipeline launch tower (206) comprising pipe laying equipment defining a tower firing line (204, 704), which tower is mounted pivotably about a tower pivot axis on said vessel and which is adapted for launching the pipeline in the tower firing line into the sea in a first position of the tower in which the tower is at an angle a with respect to the vertical. The vessel further comprises an abandonment and recovery (A&R) system comprising at least one A&R cable (213, 713) and a sheave (212) arrangement with one or more sheaves supported by the pipeline launch tower, and a hang off module supported in the lower part of the tower firing line for clamping and supporting the weight of previously launched pipeline (231). The invention is characterised in that the hang off module (210, 710) and one or more of the sheaves (212, 770, 771) having a sheave pivot axis substantially parallel to the tower pivot axis are supported by a support frame (763, 863), which is skiddable along a support frame guide (740) provided in a lower part of the pipeline launch tower, which guide is substantially perpendicular to the tower pivot axis and substantially perpendicular to the tower firing line, such that the one or more sheaves and the hang off module supported by the support frame are skiddable into and out of the tower firing line.

The system comprises operating means to perform synchronous raising or lowering of the cable portions. The system further comprises overload protection systems provided at both winches, and a safety assembly (15) preventing any substantial further movement of the cable portions (4, 8) in case the cable portions do not operate synchronously, comprising a structure (15a) mounted to the axle (12) of the equalizing sheave (11) having passages (15c) for the cable portions and further comprising stops (15b) arranged on each cable portion above and in the vicinity of the structure (15a). The safety assembly is arranged such that one of the stops will abut the structure (15a) upon relative movement of first and second cable portion (4, 8) such that the other cable portion is subjected to an increased tension and the overload protection system of that other cable portion will enter into force.
