摘要: A steering device includes a cylindrical support tube (17), a speed reducer (20), and a housing (18). The support tube (17) includes a flange (31), and supports a steering shaft (2) such that the steering shaft (2) is rotatable. The speed reducer (20) applies torque to the steering shaft (2). The housing (18) includes a cylindrical portion (41) that houses the speed reducer (20). The flange (31) and the cylindrical portion (41) are disposed coaxially, and coupled to each other by a bolt (30). The flange (31) and the cylindrical portion (41) include an engagement portion, at which the flange (31) and the cylindrical portion (41) are engaged with each other in a radial direction of the flange (31), at a different location from a location at which the bolt (30) is provided.

摘要: A steering column device (1) includes a lower tube (22) that is attached to a vehicle body so as to be pivotable in an up-down direction, a column shaft (2) to which a steering wheel (7) is attached, an upper tube (21) that rotatably supports the column shaft (2) and that also is attached to the lower tube (22) so as to be movable in a front-rear direction, a motor (41) for generating motor torque, a link mechanism (50) that couples the lower tube (22) and the upper tube (21) so as to be capable of moving in conjunction, and a power transmission mechanism (42) that acts to transmit the motor torque to the link mechanism (50). The link mechanism (50) is configured to act to cause the pivoting of the lower tube (22) in the up-down direction and the movement of the upper tube (21) in the front-rear direction to be performed in conjunction, when the motor torque is transmitted to the link mechanism (50) by the power transmission mechanism (42).
