摘要： An expandable polymer composition in the form of beads is manufactured by a seed polymerisation process, wherein additive(s) is/are incorporated into said expandable polymer composition by appropriately incorporation into seed material and subsequently using it for the seed polymerisation process. The expandable polymer composition in the form of beads can be made substantially spherical and represents an advantageous starting material for producing moulded objects having exceptional physical and chemical properties.
