摘要: Disclosed are a method and a device for distributing material that is to be spread by means of a translationally moved, rotating spreading disk. According to the invention, the rotational speed of the spreading disk is boosted as the translational speed of the spreading disk increases in order to keep the spreading width of the carpet of spread material constant. The greater the spreading density, the less the rotational speed is increased. The rotational speed is increased if the spreading density drops at a steady speed in order to keep the spreading width constant. Moreover, the angle at which the material that is to be spread is discharged from the spreading disk is modified in accordance with the speed by twisting the spreading disk and/or modifying the ratio of a liquid delivered to the spreading disk along with the material that is to be spread if the speed changes while the spreading density and the spreading width are constant, the liquid ratio being reduced when the speed increases.
