摘要: There is provided a gas circuit breaker that can appropriately ensure a pressure and a density of arc-extinguishing gas to be sprayed to an arc, and can more surely maintain electric insulation performance. A gas circuit breaker 1 includes a first arc contactor 21 electrically connected to a first lead-out conductor 7a, a cylindrical guide portion 41 provided on a second lead-out conductor 7b side, a trigger electrode 31 which is arranged to be movable between the first arc contactor 21 and the guide portion 41, and which ignites an arc generated between the first arc contactor 21 and the trigger electrode along with a movement in a first half of a current breaking action, a compression chamber 36 for pressurizing arc-extinguishing gas, the compression chamber being formed by a cylinder 42 which has an outer wall 51 and an inner wall 52 both formed in a cylindrical shape, and which is provided on the guide portion 41 side, and a piston 33 that slides between the outer wall 51 and the inner wall 52 in conjunction with the trigger electrode 31, and an insulation nozzle 23 which guides the arc-extinguishing gas pressurized in the compression chamber 36 to an arc ignited at the first arc contactor 21. The insulation nozzle 23 is formed integrally with the inner wall 52 of the cylinder 42.

摘要: The gas circuit breaker includes a sealed container filled with an arc-extinguishing gas, a pair of fixed arc electrodes arranged in the sealed container to be opposite to each other, a trigger electrode movably arranged between the fixed arc electrodes and generating an arc discharge according to movement, a pressurization chamber pressuring and increasing a pressure of the arc-extinguishing gas with pressurization means, and a pressure accumulation chamber in communication with the pressurization chamber and accumulating the pressurized arc-extinguishing gas. The trigger electrode switches the pressure accumulation chamber into a closed state or an open state. The pressure accumulation chamber is switched to the closed state in a first half of breaking of the electric current, and the pressure accumulation chamber is switched to the open state in a latter half of breaking of the electric current. The arc-extinguishing gas in the pressure accumulation chamber is guided to the arc discharge.

摘要: A reduction of the temperature of a blown gas, an improvement of a durability and a reduction of a maintenance frequency, a reduction of a current cutoff time, a reduction of drive and actuation energy, and a stabilization of a gas flow are accomplished. A pair of stationary arc electrodes 35a, 35b is disposed in a sealed container filled with an arc-extinguishing gas 1 to face with each other. A trigger electrode 34 in a rod shape with a smaller diameter is disposed between the stationary arc electrodes 35a, 35b so as to be freely movable. An insulation nozzle 81 is disposed so as to surround the trigger electrode 34. An accumulating chamber 42 to reserve the arc-extinguishing gas 1 having undergone pressure increase is provided, and a switch causing the accumulating chamber 42 to be in a closed state or a released state is provided. The switch includes gaps between the arc electrode 35b and the trigger electrode 34, and between the insulation nozzle 81 and the trigger electrode 34, and by closing the gaps by the moved trigger electrode 34, a closing component 45 is formed.
