摘要: In a marine propulsion apparatus 18 that transmits power of at least one of an internal combustion engine (ICE) 16 and a generator motor (GM) 30 mounted on a ship 1 to a propeller 5 via a forward reverse switching mechanism 25, the marine propulsion apparatus 18 can be downsized as a whole. The marine propulsion apparatus 18 includes a connection switching mechanism 37 capable of selectively connecting the GM 30 to an upstream side 24a and a downstream side 24b of the power transmission from the ICE 16 in the forward reverse switching mechanism 25. Then, the forward reverse switching mechanism 25 is interposed between the ICE 16 and the connection switching mechanism 37, and a large torque from the ICE 16 is not directly transmitted to the connection switching mechanism 37. As a result, it is not necessary to increase the capacity of the connection switching mechanism 37, and the connection switching mechanism 37 and thus the marine propulsion apparatus 18 can be downsized.

摘要: [Problem] In a reduction and reversing gear unit 18 in which hydraulic oil is supplied to a generator motor 30 or the like as cooling oil by a hydraulic pump driven by an electric motor 73, which is separate from the generator motor 30, a problem of a noise generated by fully driving the hydraulic pump and the electric motor 73 at all time is solved by assuming a high hydraulic oil temperature when a maximum load acts on the generator motor 30.
[Solution] A reduction and reversing gear unit 18 of the present invention includes an oil cooler 58 disposed in a cooling oil passage 55 that supplies hydraulic oil from an oil tank 19 to a generator motor 30 as cooling oil, a refrigerant pump 74 disposed in a refrigerant piping 72 caused to communicate with the oil cooler 58, an electric motor 73 that drives the refrigerant pump 74, and a control unit 100 that controls drive of the electric motor 73 such that a discharge amount of the refrigerant pump 74 is changed in accordance with a load detection value It of a load detection unit 101 that detects a load acting on the generator motor 30.
