in which M is at least one element of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and Zn, M' is at least one element of Al, Sc, Y and lanthanoid elements, M'' is at least one element of Ti, Zr, Hf, Th and Si, M''' is at least one element of Nb and Ta, x, y, z, u and v satisfy the relationships of 0 x + y + z + u + v = 100 , represented by mol %, and by a fluorescent lamp, in which the glass composition is incorporated in a phosphor layer in a proportion of 0. 1 to 10 weight %.
