    摘要： There is disclosed a method for preparing a silver halide photographic emulsion by use of an ammoniacal silver nitrate solution in a double-jet manner, characterized in that the method comprises the step of keeping essentially constant the solubility of the silver halide in a silver halide photographic emulsion during the crystalization of said silver halide after 10 mole % of said total silver halide crystals have been precipitated, and/or during a physical-ripening process.
    The method according to the present invention can provide a monodispersed silver halide photographic emulsion which has a high sensitivity, i.e., which comprises silver halide having a relatively large crystal size.

    摘要： A photosensitive silver halide emulsion having improved photographic properties such as sensitivity comprises photosensitive silver halide grains which essentially consist of monodisperse globular-shaped grains. The emulsion is prepared by adding a silver halide solvent to a silver halide emulsion containing monodisperse silver halide grains having a regular crystal habit between completion of formation of the emulsion containing monodisperse silver halide grains having a regular crystal habit and commencement of chemical sensitization of the emulsion. The emulsion can be used for photographic materials.
