摘要： The invention relates to a piston (1) pertaining to an internal combustion engine, said piston comprising a piston head (2) provided with an annular field (4), and a piston shaft (3) arranged beneath the annular field. Said piston shaft comprises shaft surfaces (5) and a recess surface (7) which is arranged around a bolt borehole (6) and set back in relation to an outer diameter (13) of the piston (1). At least one cavity (8) is provided in the region of the lowest annular groove (9) for an oil flow (11) in the direction of the recess surface (7) during the movement of the piston (1), and the at least one cavity (8) is arranged outside an especially stressed region (10) above the bolt borehole (6).

According to the invention, at least one rib-like element, in particular at least one rib (9), is additionally forged during the forging of the upper part (4) in an area of the cooling channel (2) to be forged in the upper part (4) and/or at least one rib-like element, in particular at least one rib (9), is additionally forged during the forging of the lower part (5) in an area of the cooling channel (2) to be forged in the lower part (5). The invention further relates to two alternative production methods and to a piston (1) for an internal combustion engine.
