摘要： It is intended to provide: a method of producing nerve cells by inducing the differentiation of embryonic stem cells; a method of inducing the differentiation of embryonic stem cells into nerve cells; a medium to be used in the production method or the differentiation induction method as described above; or a method of elevating the purity of nerve cells obtained by inducing the differentiation of embryonic stem cells. Namely, a method of conveniently, selectively or economically producing nerve cells, which are applicable to the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and the like, by inducing the differentiation of embryonic stem cells with the use of vitamin B12 or a salt thereof, and heparin, a substance having a heparin-like function or a salt thereof.
