摘要： A piston ring (1) which is resinous includes an annular main body portion (2) having an inner peripheral surface (2c) and an outer peripheral surface (2d) facing each other and a pair of side surfaces (2a, 2b) interconnecting the inner peripheral surface (2c) and the outer peripheral surface (2d) and a joint portion 3 formed in the main body portion (2). The joint portion (3) has a step shape when viewed from at least one of the pair of side surfaces (2a, 2b) and the outer peripheral surface (2d). The outer peripheral surface (2d) has a tapered surface having an outer diameter increasing from a side of one side surface (2a) of the pair of side surfaces of the main body portion (2) toward a side of the other side surface (2b).
