A groove (46) extending along a rotating shaft of the projecting-and-depressed shape roller (31) is formed in the vibration-applying surface (42t). In the ultrasonic-applying step, through holes (6) and fused portions (4) having the through holes (6) are formed in a stack of the two sheets (1, 2) by using the ultrasonic horn (42) having the groove (46).
