摘要： A microorganism wherein one or more genes selected from among a group of genes participating in sporulation in the medium to latter stages of sporulation have been deleted or inactivated; and a process for producing a target product (a protein) using the microorganism. No spore is formed by using this microorganism, which makes it possible to produce a target product (a protein) while relieving energy loss, suppressing the production of a by-product and a decrease in the specific production speed, and largely saving unnecessary consumption of a medium. Moreover, the production period can be prolonged thereby and thus the target product (the protein) can be efficiently produced.
