摘要： A gas engine system includes: a gas engine; an exhaust pipe through which exhaust gas discharged from the gas engine flows; a turbocharger connected to the exhaust pipe; a catalyst that oxidizes uncombusted fuel gas in the exhaust gas of the gas engine; a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the catalyst; a catalyst activating device configured to supply an activation promoting agent that promotes activation of the catalyst to a passage extending from the exhaust pipe to the catalyst; and an engine controller. The activation promoting agent contains a hydrocarbon that has a less activation energy value for a catalytic reaction catalyzed by the catalyst than the fuel gas of the gas engine.

摘要： A gas engine system includes: a gas engine including a crank shaft and a plurality of cylinders arranged parallel to an axial direction of the crank shaft; an exhaust pipe extending over the plurality of cylinders in a bridging manner, the exhaust pipe being a pipe into which exhaust gas discharged from the gas engine flows; a turbocharger configured to feed compressed air into the gas engine, the turbocharger using the exhaust gas as a driving source thereof; a connecting pipe connecting between a first exhaust gas outlet of the exhaust pipe and an exhaust gas inlet of the turbocharger and forming an exhaust gas passage that extends from the exhaust pipe to the turbocharger; a catalyst converter provided in the exhaust gas passage, the catalyst converter incorporating therein a catalyst that oxidizes uncombusted fuel gas in the exhaust gas; and an overheating inhibiting device configured to inject, in a part of the exhaust gas passage, at least one of inert gas, air, steam, and water as an overheating inhibiting agent that inhibits overheating of the catalyst, the part of the exhaust gas passage extending from the first exhaust gas outlet to the catalyst converter.

摘要： A gas engine system includes: a gas engine; an exhaust pipe extending over a plurality of cylinders of the gas engine in a bridging manner; a turbocharger disposed at a position that is away in an axial direction of a crank shaft of the gas engine from one end portion of the exhaust pipe; a catalyst converter that incorporates therein a catalyst that oxidizes uncombusted fuel gas in exhaust gas discharged from the gas engine; and a power generator disposed opposite to the turbocharger, with the gas engine being positioned between the power generator and the turbocharger. The catalyst converter is interposed in a passage extending from an exhaust gas outlet of the exhaust pipe to an exhaust gas inlet of the turbocharger, and is disposed above the power generator.
