摘要: An engine-driven portable generator using an inverter may still generate a voltage at its output terminals even though the engine is stopped. In view of this problem, the invention is to provide a portable generator, which is intended to prevent any residual voltage from generating between the output terminals. That is, a portable generator rectifying once an AC voltage into a DC voltage, converting the DC voltage into a single-phase AC voltage, and outputting the single-phase AC voltage, which has an output-stop-control unit (443) that, when an operating switch (305) is turned off, stops the operation of the inverter circuit at the timing when the voltage between the output terminals drops to 0, is provided.

摘要: In an engine type portable generator using an inverter, it sometimes happens that a voltage is developed between the output terminals even when the engine is at rest. A portable generator which inhibits a residual voltage from developing between the output terminals when the engine is at rest and which, after tempovarity converting an ac voltage into a dc voltage, forms a single phase ac voltage and outputs the same, wherein the portable generator includes an output stop controller (443) which, upon the turning-off of an operating switch (305), stops the operation of the inverter circuit in synchronization with the output voltage reduced to zero.
