摘要: The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for operating a discharge lamp comprising an oscillator (OSC) for generating a high frequency input voltage, a piezo-electric transformer (PT) equipped with input terminals (I1, I2) coupled to the oscillator and output terminals (O1, O2), a load circuit (C, K1, K2) coupled to the output terminals of the piezo-electric transformer and comprising terminals for lamp connection (K1, K2). According to the invention the load circuit comprises an adjustable capacitor (C). This adjustable capacitor forms very simple means for controlling the light output of the discharge lamp over a wide range.
