摘要： The disclosed invention is a collapsible ladder of simple construction and operation that can remain secure whilst being locked in the collapsed position to prevent unauthorised access. The ladder consist of a plurality of rungs pivotally connected to a pair of parallel rails. The key operated locking mechanism is designed to be tamper proof. The locking mechanism includes a rotatable latch that securely engages an opening in one of the rungs.
