The present invention relates to methods for organising and holding recreational, development and cognitive-type sessions, wherein said methods may be used to increase efficiency when holding a competitive examination by increasing the number of participants, shortening the duration of said examination and improving the reliability and objectivity of marks given according to the participants' results. When holding such an interactive competitive examination, the remote users are connected to the server of a telecommunication network and the user terminals are provided with messages concerning the rules and the beginning of said examination, the users being then registered as participants. All participants simultaneously receive the examination tasks which comprise questions as well as answer variants, one of which at least is correct. All participants are also given the same time interval to select an answer variant. When receiving the messages containing the answer variants selected, the answer variants from each participant are assessed for each task in the examination. A mark is then calculated for each task while each participant who has selected the correct answer is given a number of points proportional to the above-mentioned mark, the latter being preferably determined according to the quantity of correct answers for a given task in the competitive examination.

The present invention relates to a method for the aerosol pulverisation of liquid perfuming products, wherein said method involves spraying simultaneously in the form of aerosol flows and in the area to be processed a plurality of liquid perfuming products and/or components of liquid perfuming products having different scents. The aerosol pulverisation nozzles are arranged in the immediate vicinity of each other and at least two components of a liquid perfuming product are pulverised simultaneously. Upon pulverisation, the axes of the component aerosol flows are directed at a given mutual angle that ensures the intersection of said flows. The pulverisation is carried out in at least three areas in which at least three different scents are obtained. The third scent is obtained in the area located between the first and second areas at the intersection of the aerosol flows of two starting liquid perfuming products. A microprocessor device is used for controlling the amount of the components of perfuming liquids which are supplied to the micro-nozzles and from which various scent compositions can be obtained, including scents that can change with time.

The invention relates to methods and systems for determining a user's position and orientation in space and for displaying virtual environment, and is applicable to interactive computer games, training systems of sportive, health improving or military designation. The invention increases accuracy and speed of tracking the user's position and orientation in space, provides for convenient and natural movements of the user and presents virtual environment in response to the user's movements in real environment. Sensors 4 for tracking an angular position of a user's locomotor system segment 2 are arranged proximate junctions 3 between the segments 2 and on some of the segments 2. Main reference direction determining means 5 is disposed on at least one of the segments 2 to determine an orientation of the segment with respect to reference directions. Information from the sensors 5, reference direction determining means 5 and, if appropriate, from means 8 for user's interaction with virtual environment objects is processed to determine a position and orientation in space of the user in general on the basis of values of angles between segments and the orientation of the main segment on which the reference direction determining means is located with respect to reference directions. The obtained data is employed to display the user's movements in real time or to present virtual environment to the user in accordance with his or her field of view changing in response to movements in real environment.

The proposed method of surrounding a user with virtual reality involves forming a closed covering which defines a real closed space and mounting the covering on a support in such a way that it can rotate about its own centre. A user is placed inside the covering and can move freely on the inner surface of it. A virtual space is then created in which objects appear and move in a predetermined and random way. The virtual space thus formed is displayed to the user situated inside the covering. The virtual space is continually transformed by the subject's real physical hand, leg and head movements in the real space in a way which reflects the user's interaction with the objects in virtual space. The device for surrounding a user with virtual reality comprises a unit for creating a virtual space, means for displaying the virtual space to the user, and a unit for transforming the virtual space in accordance with the subject's real physical hand, leg and head movements in real space in a way which reflects the user's interaction with the objects in virtual space. The device also comprises a closed covering mounted on a support in such a way that it can rotate about its own centre and means for determining the magnitude and direction of the user's movements relative to the covering and connected to the virtual space transformation unit.
