摘要： Disclosed herein are disclosed a novel ceramide and, specifically, 1-O-acylceramide having a structure in which a phytosphingosine base has fatty acid chains attached thereto in opposite directions, an isomer thereof, a salt thereof, a solvate thereof, or a hydrate thereof, a use thereof for enhancing a skin barrier function, and a preparation method therefor. 1-O-acylceramide with a purity of 70% or higher can be prepared using the method and is capable of reinforcing a skin barrier function, recovery or amelioration from a weakened skin barrier function, and treating or preventing diseases caused by a decrease in skin barrier function, thereby finding applications in various cosmetics and therapeutic formulations for skin disease.
