Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a display device comprising: an external device interface unit for receiving image data from an external device; a display unit for outputting the image data; and a control unit for recognizing a type of the external device by using reference information of the external device, correcting an image quality of the image data by using distance information corresponding to the type of the external device, and outputting the corrected image data.
