Abstract: Provided is a method for controlling a clothes treatment apparatus comprising: a tub for receiving water; a drum which is rotatably disposed in the tub and receives clothes; a chamber which is in communication with the tub and in which a pressure corresponding to a water level of the tub is formed; an elastic part disposed inside the chamber and elastically deformed according to a change in the pressure of the chamber; an output unit for generating an electrical signal corresponding to the amount of deformation of the elastic part, the output unit including a plurality of gauge resistors disposed on one surface of the elastic part; and a control unit for receiving the electrical signal and comparing the same with a reference electrical signal indicating the state where the tub has a water level of zero, so as to sense the level of water received in the tub. The method comprises: draining water from the tub; detecting an electrical signal from the output unit; comparing the detected electrical signal with a reference electrical signal; and correcting the reference electrical signal when the difference between the reference electrical signal and the detected electrical signal is out of a predetermined first setting range.

Abstract: A control method of a laundry treatment apparatus is disclosed. A control method of a laundry treatment apparatus comprising a tub(3) configured to provide a space for storing water, a drum (5) provided in the tub (3) for storing laundry, a stator (551) configured to generate a rotating field when current is supplied to the stator (551), a rotor (553) configured to be rotated by the rotating field generated by the stator (551), and a rotary shaft (555) extending through the tub (3) for connecting the rotor (553) to the drum (5), the control method includes: a laundry weight measurement step (S12) for rotating the drum (5) at a predetermined first number of rotations (S31) to measure a weight of the laundry stored (S16) in the drum (5); an unbalance measurement step (S14) for rotating the drum (5) at a predetermined second number of rotations (S31) to determine a magnitude of a dynamic unbalance of the drum (5);an acceleration step (S21) for accelerating the drum (5) to a target number of rotations (S31), which is greater than the first number of rotations (S31) and the second number of rotations (S31), when the magnitude of the dynamic unbalance measured at the unbalance measurement step (S14, S17) is less than a predetermined reference value (S15); a first interruption step (S51) for interrupting a rotation of the drum (5) when a variation per unit time of current supplied to the stator (551) during execution of the acceleration step (S21) is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference variation; a laundry weight remeasurement step (S24) for rotating the drum (5) at the first number of rotations (S31) to determine the weight of the laundry stored (S16) in the drum (5) and a second interruption step (S51) for interrupting the rotation of the drum (5) when a deviation between a laundry weight measured at the laundry weight remeasurement step (S12) and the laundry weight measured at the laundry weight measurement step (S12) is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference deviation (S25).
