摘要: The present invention relates to a method of preparing a positive electrode active material which may ensure surface uniformity and coating uniformity of first and second lithium transition metal oxides included in the positive electrode active material and may improve productivity, wherein the present invention relates to a method of preparing a positive electrode active material which includes a step of (A) mixing a first lithium transition metal oxide having a first Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area and a second lithium transition metal oxide having a second BET specific surface area to prepare a mixture and washing the mixture with a washing solution, wherein an amount (parts by weight) of the washing solution based on 100 parts by weight of the mixture satisfies Equation 1 described in the present specification.

摘要: The present invention relates to a cathode active material, and a cathode and a lithium secondary battery, comprising same, the cathode active material capable of realizing a battery having a low disorder of nickel in a crystal structure and high particle strength, and excellent capacity characteristics and capacity retention, and to a cathode active material, and a cathode and a lithium secondary battery, comprising same, the cathode active material comprising: large-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide; and small-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide having an average particle diameter (D 5o ) smaller than the large-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide, wherein the large-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide and the small-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide each independently have a composition represented by Formula 1 described in the specification and have a crystal grain size of 100-150 nm, a grain size difference between the large-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide and the small-particle-diameter lithium transition metal oxide is less than 40 nm, and the Ni-disorder is 1.5% or less.

摘要: The present invention provides a positive electrode active material which includes a lithium transition metal oxide in which nickel (Ni) is included in an amount of greater than 50 mol% based on a total number of moles of transition metals excluding lithium, wherein the positive electrode active material is in a form of single particles, a structure belonging to space group FD3-M and a structure belonging to space group Fm3m are formed in a region of 50 nm or less from a surface of the positive electrode active material in a center direction, and a generation rate of fine powder having an average particle diameter (D 50 ) of 1 µm or less is in a range of 5% to 30% when the positive electrode active material is rolled at 650 kgf/cm 2 , a method of preparing the positive electrode active material, and a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery which include the positive electrode active material.
