摘要： The invention relates to a method of wrapping a load, comprising:
providing relative rotation between a package material dispenser (116) and a load (104) during a wrapping cycle;
dispensing a film web (118) from the package material dispenser (116) through a package material dispensing assembly (120) of the package material dispenser (116) to prestretch the packaging material (118) before it is applied to the load;
the packaging material dispensing assembly (120) including a packaging material drive system (124) to rotate a packaging material roller (122) thereby dispensing the packaging material to the downstream load (104);
providing an idle roller (134) between the packaging material dispenser assembly and the load, the packaging material passing over the idle roller (134);
sensing movement of the idle roller (134) downstream of the packaging material dispensing assembly (120) after the prestretching of the material;
and
controlling a speed of film dispensing from the package material dispenser to match the sensed movement at the idle roller (134).
