    transmitting electronic data signals, corresponding to the operation of a component of the overhead patient lift system (100), to a computer in communication with the overhead patient lift system (100);
    receiving the electronic data signals corresponding to operation of the component of the overhead patient lift system (100) in a processor of the computer;
    processing the electronic signals by the processor of the computer to generate electronic operation data of the component of the overhead patient lift system (100);
    storing the processed electronic operation data of the component of the overhead patient lift system (100) in a non-transient computer readable storage medium in communication with the computer; and
    displaying the electronic operation data of the component of the overhead patient lift system (100) on a display device (700) in communication with one or more of the computer and the storage medium.

    摘要: Rail-mounted lift systems is disclosed. The lift system includes a rail having at least one conductor positioned on an upper interior surface of the rail. A carriage is slidably disposed in the rail for relative movement to the rail. The carriage generally includes a carriage body, at least one pair of support wheels rotatably coupled to the carriage body and slidably engaged with the rail, and a conductor truck comprising at least one conductive roller rotatably attached to the conductor truck. The conductor truck may be mounted to the carriage body with a biasing member upwardly biasing the conductive roller into rolling engagement with the at least one conductor. A lift unit is coupled to the carriage body and includes a motor paying out and taking up a lifting strap. The lift unit is electrically coupled to the at least one conductive roller.

The drum (128) is configured to be selectively driven by the motor (124) to rotate in one of a clockwise direction and a counter-clockwise direction. A lifting strap (108) is coupled to the drum (128). The lifting strap (108) is extendable and retractable with respect to a carriage (106) of the overhead patient lifting system (100) as the drum (128) rotates. A manual release (188) operatively coupled to the drum (128) is actuatable to selectively disengage the drum (128) from the motor (124) to allow the lifting strap (108) to be manually extended. Also disclosed is an overhead patient lift system (100) including the movement system (120) and a method for manually extending a lifting strap (108) of an overhead patient lift system (100).
