摘要: The present invention relates to a method of processing powders to dissociate stuck-together particles without altering the chemical composition of the powder. In particular, the method relatres to removal of small particles, often referred to as sattelites, stuck to the surface of larger particles. The powder to be processed is submerged in a cryogenic liquid, and ultrasound waves are transmitted to the powder via the cryogenic liquid to dissociate the stuck-together particles.

According to the present invention, the device (1) comprises a nozzle (6) configured to discharge CO 2 snow onto a surface (2a) of a workpiece (2) for cleaning the surface (2a) before generating said weld seam (20) on said surface (2a), wherein the nozzle (6) is rigidly connected to the welding torch (3).
