摘要: A base for electric insulating oil comprising an esterification product from a C 8 -C 20 higher fatty acid and a C 6 -C 14 branched aliphatic monohydric alcohol; or a base for electric insulating oil comprising an esterification product from a mixed fatty acid derived from palm oil and/or mixed fatty acid derived from soybean oil and a C 1 -C 5 aliphatic monohydric alcohol or C 6 -C 14 branched aliphatic monohydric alcohol. The thus provided base for electric insulating oil excels in viscosity, fluidity, chemical stability, etc. and is capable of satisfactorily exhibiting electrical characteristics of electric insulating oil.
