摘要: The invention relates to a clamping unit (1), for a combing machine, with a clamping frame (8) which may be displaced back and forth, comprising a lower clamping plate (12) and an upper clamping plate (14), mounted in the clamping frame by means of lateral pivot arms (15,15a), which can form a pinch point with the lower clamping plate (12) in the region of the clamping plate lips (13) and a feed cylinder (27), mounted above the lower clamping plate (12) in bearing housings (26) in the clamping frame (8). In conventional solutions access for disassembly of the relevant feed cylinder is not optimal and only possible with special tools. According to the invention, the lateral pivot arms (15, 15a) for the clamping plate (14) are thus arranged or embodied such as to be located outside the region (B) which the feed cylinder (27) passes through when said cylinder is moved from an operating position to a rest position transverse to the axis (28) thereof.
