摘要: A collector terminal for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, especially a large-size battery, is provided which is free from breakage when its exterior terminal is fastened with a nut with an excessive torque, superior in electrical conductivity, and high in reliability. The section of the collector terminal forming an exterior terminal and the section where lead plates taken out from the electrode group consist of different types of metals, which are integrated by solid-phase bonding or by vacuum brazing. Among the solid-phase bonding methods, diffusion bonding, explosion pressure welding, and friction bonding are effective.

摘要: A non-aqueous electric secondary battery especially of a large-size, comprising a highly reliable collector terminal which has an excellent electrical conductivity and hardly break when a nut is fastened with an excessive torque to the external terminal of the collector terminal. The external terminal of the collector terminal is made of a different metal from that of the portion connected to a lead plate led from electrode plates, and these are integrated by solid phase welding or vacuum brazing. Effective examples of solid phase welding of this case are solid phase diffusion welding, explosion welding and friction welding.

An upper valve disc and a lower valve disc are disposed through an electric insulating gasket, a part of the upper valve disc is formed in a recess shape, and a tiny hole and a continuous thin wall part are formed in a part of the lower valve disc, and the bottom of the recess part of the upper valve disc and the portion enclosed by the tiny hole and thin wall part of the lower valve disc are fused, and the structure is constituted so that the strength of the lower valve disc may be greater than the strength of the upper valve disc.-

摘要: A thin battery in which safety is assured by cutting off the electrical connection when the internal pressure of the battery rises. An upper valve and lower valve are arranged with an electrically insulating gasket in between. Part of the upper valve is recessed and, at the same time, a small hole and a thin-wall section connected to the small hole are provided in part of the lower valve. The strength of the lower valve is made higher than that of the upper valve by welding the part of the lower value surrounded by the small hole and the thin-wall section to the bottom face of the recessed section of the upper valve.
