    摘要: A rectangular electrode plate (1) including a core metal sheet and a mixture paste coated thereon has a lead (2) on one long side edge thereof where no mixture is coated, and a mixture non-coated part (4) on the other side edge thereof. Positioning holes (5a, 5b) are punched only in the lead so that the stress exerted when punching the holes will not cause the mixture paste to fall off. Stacked electrode plates are accommodated within a magazine (22A) with a certain clearance (28) between the three side edges of the electrodes other than the lead and the inner surface of the magazine, and fed one by one to be assembled into an electrode plate group to form a battery.

    摘要: Positive and negative electrode plates, after being dried, are layered alternately upon one another with intervening separators therebetween to constitute electrode plate groups. These electrode plate groups are transferred in succession from one to another of a plurality of preliminary chambers (3, 9, 10, 11), which are respectively constructed to be able to create vacuum of various levels and arranged so that the vacuum level is gradually increased, and finally introduced into a processing chamber (13) in which the vacuum level is highest, where the welding of collector plates to the electrode plate groups is performed with an electronic beam irradiating device. After that, the electrode plate groups are taken out through a post-processing chamber (14).

    摘要: The battery module comprises a plurality of cells (6) encased in prismatic cell cases (3) having short lateral walls and long lateral walls coupled together as one piece. Each of the cells accommodates therein a group of electrode plates (5) and liquid electrolyte, wherein collector plates (31, 32) are connected respectively to the groups of positive and negative electrode plates at opposite lateral edges thereof. Connection holes (7) are formed at upper edge portions of the short lateral walls of the cell cases, and the collector plates are formed with connection bosses (33) that fit into the connection holes, so that the connection bosses of the collector plates in neighboring cells are abutted each other and welded together, whereby two adjacent cells are connected to each other.

    摘要: A sealed prismatic battery has a battery case made of a plurality of prismatic cell cases coupled together via partition walls. Electrode plate groups are accommodated together with liquid electrolyte in each of the cell cases. Each electrode plate group consists of alternately stacked-up positive and negative electrode plates with separators interposed therebetween, lead portions of positive and negative electrode plates being protruded on opposite sides. Collectors are bonded to these lead portions.
