To extend a life-span of a nozzle for a processing machine, a hard ceramic coating is formed on a surface of a base metal of the nozzle for a processing machine. By forming the hard ceramic coating on the surface of the base metal of the nozzle for a processing machine, a surface of this nozzle for a processing machine is made flaw-resistant, and the nozzle is made to have strong resistance to heat. It is thereby possible to prevent the life-span of the nozzle for a processing machine from being shortened due to occurrence of a flaw caused by contact of a workpiece with a burr during a processing, a heat-related deformation or the like. Extension of the life-span of the nozzle for a processing machine is thus realized.
