摘要： An insulation displacement connector (5), which may be compatible with two or more types of insertion tools, has a plurality of teeth defining slots (10) therebetween for wire insertion. A ledge (34) is formed at the base of the teeth as one, non-castellated, side thereof and an anvil (50) is provided on the ledge for each slot. The anvil extends into the slot and provides a terminating surface for a chisel type insulation displacement connector.
