摘要： A system (100) has a single user identifier associated with a User Identity Module (UIM) (400) in order to access a particular set of services provided by a service provider (200) by a particular terminal (300). The UIM (400) is associated with the terminal (300) and the user chooses the services to be available at the terminal (300). The user can then select a mode of operation of the terminal (300) where the terminal (300) will maintain that availability when the UIM (400) is withdrawn from the terminal (300) and repeat the process at a different terminal (301) for a different set of services.
