摘要： A hot water supply system includes a wall structure (4) resting on a stepped base (2), and a lid (6) resting on the wall structure. The base upper portion (8) forms the bottom of a heat insulated hot water tank (10). An electric heating element (22) is located in the tank (10), and a water outlet spout (24) extends from the tank (10).
The wall structure (4) defines a reception region (28) over the base lower portion (26) for a cordless electric kettle (30). An electric socket (32) receives the kettle plug pins.
In operation, water in the kettle (30) is heated by a heating element (38) in the kettle. When required, warm water is dispensed from the water tank (10) through the spout (24).
