摘要： The present invention provides an opto-electronic computing device, comprising one or more computation modules that each comprise:
- an input layer comprising an array of photosensors for generating electrical signals based on input optical signals,
- an output layer comprising an array of light emitters for generating output optical signals,
- electronic circuitry for processing the generating electrical signals to generate driving signals for the array of light emitters, and
- an optical layer comprising an array of optical elements for modifying the optical signals,
characterized in that the device comprises one or more connection elements that pass the electrical signals from the input layer to the output board and that are oriented perpendicular to a plane of the input board.
