A demultiplexer (5) demultiplexes the AV stream to acquire commercial metadata. A web browser (7) acquires a script document in which a procedure for processing the commercial metadata is described. A JavaScript VM (6) interprets the script document acquired by the web browser (7), and performs a process on the commercial metadata demultiplexed and acquired by the demultiplexer (5) according to the description of the script document.
